Switchgear Technical Manual for Foreign Trade Promotion

一、Scope of Application

The KYN2A-12 (GZS1) indoor metal-clad mid-mounted withdrawable switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear) is an indoor complete power distribution device for three-phase AC 50Hz systems. It is used to receive and distribute 3~12kV network power, and to control, protect and monitor circuits. Various types of microcomputer-based integrated relay protection devices can be installed on the relay compartment panel of this product, enabling intelligent control of the system with remote control, remote measurement, remote signaling and remote adjustment functions. It can form a field network through a CAN bus with communication interfaces. It also features the "five-prevention" interlock function: preventing incorrect operation of circuit breakers, preventing withdrawal/insertion of draw-out units under load, preventing closing of earthing switches when live, preventing power transmission with earthing switches in the closed position, and preventing entry into live compartments. This switchgear can be equipped with VSI (i.e., ZN63), ZN12V vacuum circuit breakers, or imported VD4 vacuum circuit breakers and VC series vacuum contactors.

  1. Ambient air temperature: Upper limit +40°C, lower limit -10°C for general areas
  2. Altitude: 1000m
  3. Humidity
    1. Relative humidity: Daily average ≤95%, monthly average ≤90%
    2. Water vapor pressure: Daily average ≤2.2 kPa, monthly average ≤1.8 kPa
The product is suitable for the following more severe environmental conditions where condensation may occur due to sudden temperature drops, accompanied by pollution:
(1) Infrequent condensation (average no more than twice per month) with light pollution;
(2) Rare condensation (average no more than twice per year) with heavy pollution;
  1. No harsh locations with fire, explosion hazards, or severe pollution that can corrode metals or damage insulation;
  2. No locations with severe vibration, shock, or vertical inclination exceeding 8°.
Notes:
(1) Storage and transportation at -30°C to +60°C is allowed.
(2) For areas with an altitude of 1000m, comply with JB/T 2102 Technical Requirements for High-Voltage Electrical Equipment Used in Altitude Areas. When the altitude does not exceed 2000m, no measures are required for low-voltage auxiliary equipment.
(3) If actual service conditions differ from the above, consultation between the user and the manufacturer is required.

五、Enclosure and Partitions

The switchgear enclosure and partitions are fabricated from high-quality imported aluminum-zinc coated steel plates, processed and bent by CNC machine tools, then bolted together, ensuring dimensional consistency of the assembled switchgear. It has strong corrosion and oxidation resistance, and higher mechanical strength than ordinary steel plates. The switchgear is divided by partitions into a draw-out compartment (circuit breaker compartment), busbar compartment, cable compartment, and relay/instrument compartment (low-voltage compartment). Each unit enclosure is independently earthed.

六、Cabinet Overview

The switchgear enclosure and partitions are made of aluminum-zinc coated steel plates, processed and bent by CNC machine tools, then bolted together, ensuring dimensional consistency of the assembled switchgear. The aluminum-zinc coated steel plates have excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, and higher mechanical strength than ordinary steel plates. The switchgear is divided by partitions into a draw-out compartment, busbar compartment, cable compartment, and relay/instrument compartment, with each unit enclosure independently earthed. All switchgear doors are electrostatically sprayed, providing impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and an attractive appearance (color customizable by the user).
